PRENAPS Uganda (or Promoting Research and Extension on Nutrition and HIV/AIDS in Primary-care Settings in Uganda) is an indigenous Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) duly registered by the Ugandan Registrar of Companies and the NGO Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uganda. PRENAPS Uganda is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political, membership-based NGO that engages in fundraising activities only for the purpose of achieving its mission and objectives. PRENAPS Uganda was founded in February 2013 with the following vision and mission:
To become a premier public health-based research, extension and advocacy organization promoting health, economic growth and social transformation in Uganda.
To facilitate the integral development of the Ugandan society by promoting nutrition and AIDS research and extension through engaging national and international universities, government, donors, development partners and the civil society.
