The first publication from the PreNAPs study “Reliability and validity of an individually-focused food insecurity access scale for assessing inadequate access to food among pregnant Ugandan women of mixed HIV status” has been accepted for publication and we are very excited!!!
PRENAPS Uganda will on 16th June 2014 hold the first meeting of the recently constituted Advisory Board on 15th June 2014. The meeting, to be held at Mulago Hospital is aimed at orienting members of the Advisory Board on their roles. Chaired by Dr. Jane Achan, the Advisory Board of PRENAPS Uganda provides strategic advice and direction to the Executive Committee and the Executive Director. Other members of the Advisory Board include: Drs. Gaston Tumuhaimbise of Makerere University & Fr. Deus Karemire of Rubaga Cathedral.
We are excited to be hosting Ms. Shalean Collins (Tulane University, MPH 2015) in Gulu for this summer and fall. Shalean will takeover coordination of the PostNAPs study while Barnabas travels to Cornell to complete his PhD.
